~Lagoon~

~August 2009~

I hadn't been to Lagoon for a long time, I hadn't even gone with Colt until this day. The tickets were a good deal and we were all in need of a little getaway. We went with Jon and Angie and their kids and we dragged Avery and Erin along with us. (I think they were ok with that.)

Our kids had obviously never been to an "amusement park" in their little lives. I didn't know how they'd respond and I was trying to get Colt to start with the little kiddie rides. Of course Marley, our fearless child, wanted to start out with the Dancing Dragon - the new ride of 2009. I tried to convince them to pick the little helicopters or cars or something not so... fun. No, they wanted the Dragon and Marley LOVED it!

Corbin rode the White Roller Coaster and the Colossus but his favorite ride was the Bat. He could've gone on that the whole time if we would've let him. It was so much fun, I'm glad we all went.

~I love CJ's and Jaxons faces. Marley is over there laughing and they're screaming their heads off. We had so much fun!~

1st Annual J.P. Howard Family Reunion 2009

Leslie and Jared did an awesome job planning our reunion. It was a lot of fun, I can't wait to see what is planned for 2010.

~June 20, 09~

We went to the zoo this year with Grandma and Grandpa K. What a fun time we had, even though it rained on us a bit. I love these pics, it was such a good time. I look forward to a 2010 trip!!

We got her at the beginning of December. She's the sweetest thing ever!! I love her so much!

My favorite (and I had a few favorites!) Christmas present was my "blog book". Colt had gone online and had my entire blog printed into this awesome book. Of course this had me in tears and I've enjoyed reading through it since I've gotten it.

He told me I had to start blogging again so I can get another one in 2-3 years. :) DONE!! I love this because it's basically a journal with awesome pictures. As I've read through it I've forgotten little stories about the kids or little funny things that the kids have said. I've promised to do it again. I know I've had a couple of friends that have had this done and now I encourage the rest of you to do it... at some point in your blogging career, it's the coolest thing.

So the new address? Well my sweet husband said that it'd be much easier for him to print a second book if I just did a whole new address. I wasn't going to complain. He surprised me with the best thing ever, it's the least I can do to help him out!

**Summer Time**

We did a good number (2) of parades this year. C and Tay were in a summer science camp. This is them on the float in the Wheat & Beat Parade.

Colt and my bro and sis-in-law hiked the Wellsvilles this past summer. That is Tremonton/Elwood behind them. They were even able to locate their home.

Since we've been gone...

... Marley had a birthday! Well, we all have but this one is about her.

Happy Birthday, you are four!!

We went swimming at the Brigham City Pool, would you believe at the end of August it was actually cold?!?! (Alright, so in the low 80's instead of mid 90's, where it's supposed to be!) It was overcast and windy, if we hadn't been at the pool it would've been the perfect summer day. Emma stayed with Grandma Pam so she could nap, how nice!

After the pool (which we didn't spend a lot of time at) we went and had lunch at Pizza Hut, the kids new favorite place to eat.

On Sunday we had a family/friend birthday party for her at Jeanie Stevens Park. She was getting a little embarrassed that we were all singing to her. You'd think she'd love that sort of thing! I love this pic of her, sometimes the non-posing kind are the best!
