Bear Lake twenty-ten

Our Howard Family Reunion 2010 was up at Bear Lake this year. We were only there for two days but we had a good time. We only had half of the family there this time, hopefully next year there will be more. Thanks Jon and Angie for planning this one, it was fun!

Our kiddos.

Corbin having his 3rd - yes 3rd - bite of an onion ring. He was liking it until the onion fell on his chin and he shoved it in his mouth....

... it was down hill from there.

Marley and Daddy

Me, Lil E, and Corbin

Look! A bear!

Corbin's great photo work.

Corbin, Jaxon, Marley
Is that a bench of bears??
We finally met up with the rest of the family. It rained for a while so instead of doing fire dinners we went and got pizza. Yummy!!

Are we surprised? Another bear.

Marley's photo skills. And no, Colt is not sweating. That's from the rain storm he stood in. I was completely dry because Emma and I were in the van. :)

Cozy girls!

Erin squished the best scones. Check out this elephant! It's a baby and he's running. We'll call him Willis.

Angie, Dad, Jon, Colt
Jon made the awesome scones. Delish!

Here's our bulldog - he's looking to the left. Let's call him Bart.

Creepy.

Lunch

Jon trying a piece of cantaloupe with pepper on it, a recommendation from one of his friends. I don't think it was a hit.

What a good time, thanks everyone!!!

he does it, so she must

Like Brother...

Like Sister...

He gets bloody noses, she gets runny noses. We've done this to Corbin since I can remember. This past year Marley has decided to take up the habit. It's almost cute except when she makes the tissue so small I can hardly get it out. Kids are entertaining, aren't they?

Cake Boss

My little family likes to watch Cake Boss on TLC. The kids begged Colt to make a cake with them, a real Cake Boss kind of cake, so of course they did it.

Making fondant.

(Notice the cupboard door behind Marley? Ya, Corbin's hard head totally broke it off - shattered it. He was pushing himself up to get the phone and he hit to corner of the door. A little blood and tears and a big mess. We need to order a new one. How random is this??)

Pretty cool for their first time. Good job, kiddos!!

Happy Anniversary, Babe!!

Married for nine years, sealed for seven, three wonderful kids, and MILLIONS of memories.

Both of our anniversary's are this month (on the 26th and 27th) and instead of leaving the kids again (after Hawaii and trek I didn't want to leave them) we kept them with us to celebrate. We did get to dinner by ourselves the night before but on this day we spent the day at the zoo with our babies. We had a great time. I love my little family, so much it amazes me.

Emma LOVED the monkeys, she likes to be one, too!

Elephant watching.

Colt and I both have pics from when we were kids with this same lion. Every child needs one!

She's crazy, I know. LOVE HER!!

We love slushies!

This was one smart chimp - or whatever it is. She (or he) would dip his sheet down into the water and pull it up and suck the water from it. Brilliant.

Thanks babe, for a wonderful 9 years!! It's been truly wonderful and I'm looking forward to more good times in the future.

Good Job, Marley!

She's on a two wheeler!! We're so proud of her, once she learned to watch ahead and not look at her feet she was on a roll. She loves to ride her bike and is outside more now then ever. We're so proud of her!!

Good job, Jo Jo!!
