Emma-ism

Grandma Pam has a pile of pictures in her purse that Emma likes to look at. She likes to get into Grandma's purse to find them. Well, there are other things in Grandma's purse and she found them, too...

One TUM, one blood pressure pill, and two Aleve's is what I got out of her mouth. I don't think she swallowed any of Grandma's pills, she was just sucking the coating off of them. There is a chance she was looking for Tic Tac's which is a treat Grandma has been giving her since she returned from her trip back East. Emma seems to have had no side effects. Although, she did sleep in her bed for the first time in over a month without screaming herself to sleep.

Emma-ism

This little stinker. She took the spray bottle to my computer. :( Key board seems fine (except for the three keys she took off last week that I can't get back on) but the screen is messed up. It's still usable, at least for now. I think she'll be quickly catching up to Miss Marley.

Corbin's Baptism

I can't believe my baby boy has been baptized. We had so many family and friends here to celebrate his special day. Thank you to everyone you came to support Corbin. We had a wonderful day!

10/09/10

Here is Corbin at 7:30 AM on his baptism day. He was so excited to go, he kept asking "Is it time yet?" He was VERY excited.

Finally!! At the Stake Center and dressed.

Corbin and his Dad

The kids at home after the baptism.

After the baptism we went to Uncle Jon's church for lunch and to spend time with our family and friends. We took a ton of pictures with everyone. They will not all be on here yet but you'll get a chance to see them, I promise!

Congratulations, Corbin, on choosing to be baptized. We're so happy for you. You are on the right track to being that missionary you are so excited to be!! Keep making good choices, we love you!!

We love baby Tessa

We get to have little Brooklyn and baby Tessa in our home three times a week. It is so much fun and so good for little Emma. She plays well with Brooklyn but adores baby Tessa. They're lucky to have such good little cousins!

Flag Football 2010... Game Three

Game three went great. We weren't to sure about this team only because we've heard how competitive and serious this coach takes these games. It was a good game. Our boys did great. What is fun about our team is that we can see, week by week, the growth and knowledge that they are gaining. It's been great fun to watch!!

I didn't get very many pics. Hopefully I will do better at the "action shots" this next game.

"Mom, this week I'm Peyton!!"

Cute Brit. :) Thanks for coming and supporting the boys!

The team... game almost over.
Good win, boys!

a little piece of Emma

It has been a rough few weeks with this little one. She hasn't wanted to sleep at all. With no fever I had no reason to take her to the doctor but with much research online we decided it was just a terrible two thing. The first week was HORRIBLE. When we put her in bed - which has never been a problem - she would scream non-stop for two hours at a time. Sometimes never able to calm herself down.

We tried many different things, only twice having to resort to Benadryl, and here we are... four weeks later. She's doing much better now, not crying for as long, but also not back to how she was before. I'm hoping eventually we'll get back to that. She won't sleep in her bed but chooses to sleep on the floor by her bedroom door. It's sad, I know.

This particular night we let her stay up with us a little later then normal, hoping she'd be so tired she'd zonk out  better. Of course it didn't work, but we enjoyed playing football with her while she was happy. :)

9/29/10

She was so good to let me put rollers in her hair. She's such a doll with them in. They weren't dry enough when I took them out but I'm happy to say her hair will curl well. :)

10/01/10

Just my goofy Emma!!

10/02/10

Even though we've had a rough few weeks with her I still absolutely ADORE this little one. (And the goofy boy next to her... and the funny one not pictured...)

Conversations with Marley

**Remember: She has a "Marley Accent"**

Marley: Can I have the water bottle?

Mom: Are you from Brooklyn?
(She said 'water bottle' in a Tony Maccelli sorta way...)

Ignoring me she says again...

Marley: Can I have the water bottle?

Mom: Are you from Brooklyn?

Marley: What?

I ask again. Again she asks What?

Me: Where are you from?

Marley: You.

Kids are so dang cute.
