And the winner is...
"On the Socks"
Our family likes to watch The Sing Off and this year our favorite group was On the Rocks. Little miss Emma LOVES them. Whenever she was bored, cranky, tired, wanted to cuddle or just wanted some entertainment and dance time we turned on On the Rocks (which she calls "On the Socks"). Thanks heavens for DVR - we have the episodes recorded and saved - we watch them over, and over, and over, and over...
This particular night we watched them (over and over and over...) while I was putting curlers in Emma's hair. She sat like this and didn't move. It makes me laugh how much she likes them. She sits still watching them better then she watches Dora.

Winter with Corbin
This was a fun little assignment that Corbin did in school. He needed to write an ending for each sentence. His answers will be in quotations. I liked how he finished the sentences and I wanted to remember them. So here we go...
When I see a snowflake, it makes me feel like "snowman and Christmas."
The best thing about snow is "snow forts and snowball fights."
My favorite thing to do when it is snowing is "make snowballs."
If I could change one thing about snow, it would be "make it look like horse shoes."
Ope, there we go, there's the connection with the Colts. I love his imagination!

We got so much snow on Saturday. When we got back from Grandma Pam's house Colt took Marley and Corbin outside to play while he shoveled. By the time I got the camera out there (which died right after this picture was taken) it was dark, Dad was done shoveling, and snowballs were being thrown. Clever Corbin put up his sleds to protect him.
my scholar student
| "Corbin is a hard working student. He learns very quickly and uses what he learns in his work. Keep up the great work Corbin!" |
We are so very proud of him! He's a great second grader and it's fun to watch him learn and grow. He also got a coupon to the Pie Dump for a free donut. That was probably the best part for him. I love him so much!!
3 down, none to go...
Tonsils due to come out on Monday, December 27th. Merry Christmas, baby girl! Here's to a non-sick winter...
