Corbin's Valentine

Corbin's first "real" crush... I think.

Her name is Emma Palmer. He had kindergarten with her and now they're in the same 2nd grade class. I found a picture of them, that he drew, hiding under his bed. It's a picture of them on their wedding day. I'm sure he'd be upset for me putting this on here but it's too cute not to share. And one day he'll think so, too.

Emma, when they were in kindergarten. She's a cute girl.

The photo. My does he look buff. :) Look how happy they are...
I love you, Corbin, you're a stud!!

Happy Valentines Day!

The kids Valentines that their Daddy made for them.

Corbin's - Kung Fu Panda

The Valentines Owl that I made for him. He LOVES it. So worth the time. :)

Marley's Card

Oh man, why did it turn?? Anyway, that's Marley holding "valentine balloons".

Emma's

Emma's Owl that I made her.

My incredibly talented and crafty friend Charlotte convinced me that making these would be a good idea. Well she was right and I appreciate her helping me find my inner craftiness. That's how talented she is!! :)

This was the only picture we got of Marley on Valentines Day. She was eating toast and watching Good Luck Charlie. She wasn't even ready for school yet, and she looked dang cute, too!! Marley has an owl, too, it's just like Emma's but with pink button eyes instead of purple. I'm very pleased with how they turned out. Not bad for my first time sewing!!

Happy Valentines, everyone!!

sisters

Emma is such a good example for her big sister. I know, that sounds strange. But whenever Emma lets me do her hair all cute (without a fuss, I might add) Marley thinks it's pretty cute and wants it don't to her hair, too. These two pictures are PERFECT examples of that. Cute little girls, I've got!!

Box Car Derby

Jan '11 Pack Meeting
Box Car Derby

Sister Hess, Nathan, Joey, Corbin, Andy, Sister Rice

Corbin's "Box Car" was a motor cycle.

Waiting at our "pit stop". The family had to help him complete different stops.

Waiting to get started.

Little did we know that one of the pit stops he had to take a family member with him. Since his box was so small Emma was the only one that would fit. We all know how Emma feels about being outside of her comfort zone...

... he carried her the whole way...

... she cried the whole way...

... and even when it was done. She's really gotta get tough.

Corbin and his Cub Scout leader, Sister Larsen. She is awesome!

We had a fun night. Our leaders are so good!

Happy Valentines Season!

~friends~

Jr. Jazz '11

Corbin waiting for the rebound.

I'm not sure who his team mate is but I like how they're walking backwards the same way.

Going for the layup. He made two baskets this game. I'm so proud of him!

Taking a break. I wonder what he's day dreaming about?

I like how he is not intimidated by this kid. No fear!

Another steal! He stole the ball three times in this game. He's a very good defensive player!

Yes, Colt is coaching again. And yes, Corbin is #17 again. He get's to keep this jersey so he'll be 17 (in honor of Austin Collie) for the rest of the season.

Joey (a boy in our ward) and Corbin.

Briton and Corbin. Briton is the son of my high school friend, Angie.

Basketball is going good so far. I'm so proud of you, Corbin!
