Yesterday Corbin learned all about Utah's history. What our state flower is, the state bird, state animal (did you know we have a state animal?), the state bear, and so on and so forth.
Well tonight we went and got the kids pictures taken out in a field with plenty of grasshoppers. He says this...
Corbin: I don't know why I can't kill the grasshoppers, they ate the pioneers crops. Don't they deserve payback?
Marley: What are the pioneers crops?
Corbin: Their food. They could have died. If they would have died you wouldn't have been born.
He's taught me a thing or two (and more) about our Utah history. I'm glad he loves school and that he's learning so much. I'm so proud of him.
